Share your thoughts, tell your story. Help create a vision for a vibrant tourism industry in your community.

These meetings among community aim to use a small set of foundational tools that combine seven wealth creation principles ( social, economic, intellectual, individual, natural, built, and political) and Community Tourism.  We will break into small groups to practice in various relationships critical to our development and unified vision of a tourism that benefits us all. We'll practice using the Wealth Creation and Community Tourism Model to:

  • Learn of the historical value and importance of our communities through the lens of Community Based Tourism (CBT)
  • Benefit from greater revenue in town, as well as opportunities for new businesses, employment opportunities, and high property values
  • Maintain the local culture and hold on to the characteristics that make the Black Belt special.
